When shifting into 2nd or 3rd I must wait a long time for the gears to synchronize and it is nearly impossible to shift down into them without grinding. Has anyone encountered a similar problem or know the difficulty of rebuilding one of this trannys.

Mine was a bearing issue in the trans. I just put a junkyard trans in it instead of the rebuild.
