Hello all, just registered here and have a question for you all. I want to put a glass pack on my car, and don't know what one to put on or what brand etc. Here are my car specs:

'01 Pontiac Grand Am SE
2.4L Automatic 4 Cyl Engine
2 Dr Coupe

So yeah I am looking to put a glass pack on my car. Already spent over a grand putting a sound system in, nothing real great, but its a "starter system" so to speak.

Welcome to the forum. You're asking about putting a "glass pack" in as in for your exhaust??? I have to strongly discourage you. Glasspacks create shitloads of turbulence and kill performance. Not to mention they usually corrode through within a few years. If you just want shitty, cheap loudness with lost power, then yes, by all means, a glass pack will work. But I would highly suggest cat-back exhaust, a different muffler, ect; or even just having your exhaust resonator removed if you want loudness, plus actually some added power. But if all in all you want to actually get a glass pack, you don't really need a "brand" - just tell the exhaust / muffler shop that you want one, and they'll find one that mates up with your pipe (I think you're 2 inch exhaust) and they'll weld it in for you. Glasspack + labor = probably 100 dollars).

I see. All this car modification is new to me, so bare with me on this please. Yes I do have a 2 inch exhaust, what about Muffler Tips? I could just put those on instead of getting a whole new exhaust system.

Yes - if you wanted a muffler with tips + installation at a shop, it'd run you probably 200 $-ish.

Ok.. What muffler tips would you recommend for my car? JC Whitney seems to have some good ones on there site.
