FYI
My 02 4.7L was having an issue with the torque converter coming out and right back in to lock up around 55 mph. Was annoying hearing the engine rev an extra 200 rpm then right back down. The problem was not related to the transmission, turns out the Throttle Position Sensor was bad. Hope this may help someone else in the future.
