OEM Silverado Fender Flares ** Wanted ** swatglock 07-31-2005, 06:17 PM
Thanks, 3wbdriver 07-31-2005, 09:20 PM Go to Ebay.com, and do a search for "silverado fender flares". I got mine for $150 shipped, but I lucked out. You can get a good set of take offs for less than 200. If you get take offs, you'll have to remove the old tape, and get a roll of 3M tape to re-apply. You'll also need to get 24-30 of the little push rivets at the dealer (at about $1 apiece). Count the holes in your fender lips before you go. I took their word for it, and had to go back for 4 more. It took me longer to remove and re-do the tape than to mount them. I used a safety razor and WD-40. Good luck. I just did a search on Ebay, and got 20 hits, OEM and aftermarket mixed. swatglock 07-31-2005, 09:33 PM Thanks, 3wbdriver 07-31-2005, 09:43 PM I would imagine in a place as big as Dallas (I have family in Flower Mound), most of the truck aftermarket places would have some from customer upgrades. I think I remember a 4WheelParts place in Dallas, off I-35 that might be a good start. That link I sent you had only bid up to 50 something anyway. It might be worth watching with 2 days to go. swatglock 07-31-2005, 09:51 PM Thanks, 3wbdriver 07-31-2005, 09:57 PM I'm feeling ya man. That was me a year ago. I brought mine home as a plain jane white truck 1 year ago today. I got the vent visors and bug shield on the way home from the dealer. I've spent about $2000 on it over the past year, and I'm almost done. Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
