97 Camry 115,000 Miles 2.2L 4Cyl...I was driving down the highway the other night and the car lost all power for a quick second, then it was regained and I kept driving. It was fine until about 10 minutes later I was sitting at a red light and the car completely died right there. I immediately tried to restart it...with no success...We pushed it down the road and left it there for the night.

This morning we began all checks:

Fuses seem good
It has power and a new alternator but to be sure we tried jumping it.
Listened to the fuel pump during cranking and it does whine.
It has spark and we put new plugs in it...the spark is a dull orange not blue...this tells me it could be an ignition problem?
Checked the starter by hammering on it while cranking,then pulled it out and check that the solenoid is functioning.

If anyone can please help us out with this it would be greatly appreciated.
