You most likely have the famous Lower Intake Manifold (LIM) leak. Check your oil - if it is milky, then that is defffinately the case. It could possibly be internal; in which case you would need to have it fixed or else the antifreeze will eat through your bearings; or it could be external, but not enough to reach the ground. Look at the area under your throttle body - if it is streaked / pooled, it could be leaking coolant there, but not enough to overpool and drip down to the ground.

I checked the coolant area it was low on coolant, put some antifreeze and drove it and still seeing this light come on. Could it be the water pump? What to check if it is the water pump?

my 99 GA always looses coolant. Sometimes mine would run out the overflow Reservoir drain tube. I think whenever I do a few jack-rabbit starts race to the next light the coolant level would rise, causing it to over flow, hense low coolant light, then if the overflow tank was already over full it would act like a syphon and just keep pouring out till it's about empty.
However I would not recommend pluging the overflow. I tried it and I blew out my intake gaskets, again(3), and coolant went into the oil. I found out quick and replaced it. Some new GM's leak below the throtle body on the intake also, and bacause it's so hot under the hood it is sometimes hard to find. I just poured in some green UV die, I got from AutoZone, and a good black light. That should find about any external leakage. Hope this helps :)

Also you could just have air in the lines and it takes a while to clear out. Or it just could be a bad low coolant sending unit... \,,/ \,,/
