I evacuated the system, jumped the compressor and refilled the system, checked for leaks and have found no problems. It will cool when I jump straight to the battery from the comp. But it will not kick on without me doing this. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks.

You may have a bad low pressure sensor or a bad compressor fuse. If it will work when you jumper the compressor then there has to be a problem in the activation circuit. I would also check the switch to the AC as it may have gone bad.

I checked the compressor fuse and it is ok. I am thinking it is the low pressure sensor as well. How do I check this sensor?? Thanks
