My '85 MR2 has water in the spoiler. I heard that was a common problem in some of the '85's. Is there any way to get rid of this problem?

I would drill a couple of drain holes, one on each end on the bottom.

Thanks, but is there any other way I can drain it and "weather strip" it? I really don't want to drill holes in my spoiler...but if that's the only solution..so be it...

There may be, but without the spoiler in front of me, I can't tell where it's leaking or what I'd do to seal it. If you can take it apart, then you will drain it, and when you put it back together, put window or gutter sealant between all the joints (color matching) and put sealant on all the bolts, screws etc. Keep an eye out for joints and bolts/fasteners that may let water in. Put sealant on everything.

Here's what I'd use:

http://www.osiproseries.com/adhesives/products/quad-window-siding-gutter-roof-sealant/index.htm

Comes in colors - and the clear is paintable

They have a locator for dealers on that website.
