Hey, okay, to make a long story short. 2 months ago our e250 was stolen. After it was recovered and supposedly repaired, my husband went out and drove it home. The engine light came on and he took it right back. They sent us to a ford dealer because of the computer needed to diagnose the problem. They said that the sparkplugs and coil was flooded on the right side. They replaced them and we were on our way. Yesterday, the engine light came back on. We went back to the ford dealer who said that 3 more coils had been flooded. We're talking lots of money now. My husband was how the *D(S* did the engine get flooded. We haven't even been having a lot of rain here until recently. The mechanic said that the splash shield is missing on the right side. Well, no one seems to know where to get a splash shield or what it even looks like. I would love to find out where to get one, QUICK, and then see a schematic diagram of the area we're talking about so that I know what it looks like. ANY HELP WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATED. WE ARE GOING TO CHICAGO ON NEXT WEDNESDAY AND NEED THE VEHICLE TO WORK WITHOUT WORRING ABOUT RAIN AND IT FLOODING AGAIN. THANK YOU!!!

What year is your van? Are you talking about inter wheel wells? Let me know I can take some digital pictures of mine if you need.

It's a 2002. I'm assuming it has something to do with the engine and the sparkplugs since the coils and sparkplugs had to be replaced. We already had 4 coils replaced on the right side. When I looked up on the net for splash shield it showed me for the wheel and brake system. I'm at a blocked road right now. No one seems to know what I'm talking about and I don't want to have to replace any more coils. We've spent $2,000 on this thing since the beginning of the year in repairs not associated with the theft. Thanks for getting back to me. By the By, I'll ask my husband if digital pictures would help him and I'll let you know. Thanks again.
