my 91 RS has had problems ever since I bought it. It wouldn't even try to start at first i finally figured out the chip in the key wasn't making contact. unfortunately that was after taking it to the shop and they replaced the computer some injectors and other things which worked for about a day. then it started the same thing. after that I bypassed the chip at the bottom of the steering collumn which worked at first also but about 2 days after that it died while driving it. then I had the lock cylinder and the key changed out at another shop, with dealer parts. didn't help at all. NOW IF FIRES UP idlels very low and rough for about 5-10 seconds and dies. sometimes a little longer, but if you touch the gas at all it kills it immediately.
I've tried everything I know please help.
p.s. what is a code 35

if it's a V8, the tps is in the side of the TBI unit, if it's a V6, i haven't the slightest idea.

I admit I would have looked at the idle motor first and maybe the TPS second so, I think you've gotten good advice so far. Based on what you've said I would next look at a fuel starvation issue. This would be seen as a fuel pressure drop at the fuel rails and could be caused by a couple things: perhaps a clogged or damaged fuel supply line, bad fuel filter, or fuel pressure regulator to name a few. It is probably not the fuel pump itself since it is generally either working or not working. Nor is it likely to be the fuel pump relay for the same reason.

It is hard to directly check fuel pressure without a fuel pressure gauge (which you might be able to rent at an auto parts store), but you can check a couple things directly. There should be a small cap on the fuel rail with a Schrader valve (the kind you push in like on a tire). When you push down on the valve with your thumbnail fuel should squirt out;this is where you would attach the fuel pressure gauge if you had one, but since you don't you could just try to see how much of a squirt you have after the cars stalls compared to right after you turn the key to on (before you start it). It's a pretty crude, but it may lend some perspective on the situation.

Fuel pressure regulators are pretty expensive ($200+ is normal) so I wouldn't replace it casually. Instead I would replace the fuel filter, visually and mechanically check the fuel line, and maybe tap on the fuel pressure regulator with a screw driver a couple times to free it if it happens to be stuck. Good luck
