Does anyone know if the regular center caps (not the ones with the holes for the hubs) will fit over the automatic hubs? If I had manual hubs then of course I'd use the ones with the holes in them. But with the automatic hubs I'd rather have them coverd since they are kind of an eye sore. Before anyone says anything. I'm going to get manual hubs eventually.

Apparently they do. I have seen a couple of 4WDs running around with them on. Most of the folks on this board have either removed them or they were removed for them by the rocks when off-roading. They don't do so well for staying on in mud and rocks. I would take one off the rear and try clipping it on the front just to see. Then if it fits, they are $8 at the Nissan dealer. Most dealers keep them in stock since they do tend to break and fall off regularly.

I thought about trying that but figured someone already did and I was at work so couldn't try it then :) When I start actually going offroad I'm going to get the 15" steelie's and get some better tires so I'm not worried about loosing them.

After an accident the shop ordered a rear cap for the front of my 4x4 and I thought it would be ok. One day I look at my truck and it's just gone. It can't fit too well or Nissan would have put the same one's on the front from the factory. Don't you think? Cheaper to make one design than two.

Yes they fit (at least on the 2000) Mine came that way from the dealer (someone screwed up during the dealer prep)
