The window on my new(used) lumina doesn't come down on the driver side. I know that it could be that the gears are just shot but it doesn't even make noise or try to come down. I was wondering how easy is it to install another one? instructions? I was also wondering if you guys think it'll be a good idea to get the motor from a junk yard? because it's 70 bucks at autozone.

Could also be the switch. Pop it off and try jumpering the wires and see what you get.
