Hey Guys! I'm new to this WRX/9-2X scene... a convert from Saturn. Thank God!! :icon16:

But anyhow, I picked up a 9-2X Aero recently and availability of options were slim, so now I want to do a true HID upgrade. Does anyone know if running an HID kit through my lowbeams will melt/malfunction/etc due to the daytime-running-lights being the lowbeams at half power? :dunno:
Or perhaps there is a way to safely disable the DRLs. The only way to do that on a Saturn without soldering meant you lost a hi-beam haha. I already contemplated just driving with headlights on 24/7 but the radio is hard to read when the interior lights dim lol

pull the fuse for the daytime running lights....i dont think it interferes with any of the other light functions, i pulled in on my wrx everything else works fine...
