Does anyone know how to disable the ABS on a 99 GASE?

Why do you want to disable to ABS????

Because it kicks in at the wrong time, and it doesn't come on when it should.

How about some examples? ABS is a safety device, GM put it on your car and mine to make it safer, but if there is something wrong it should get fixed...

Well, lets see.... Winter time, ABS did not kick on not one time. Summer, the damn thing comes on just by backing out of the driveway, and when stoping at red lights. Yeah, I know its a safety device, but some devices just wern't ment for me.

Sounds like a sensor is getting a false reading. Look under the front of the car at the cv shaft where it meets the steering knuckle. There is a ring with teeth around it, see if there are any small rocks, rust etc. caked in any of the teeth, dont' forget to check both sides. If they are clean, have a brake shop diagnose your abs, something is definately wrong.

Well, I just took my car to a local shop, and the couldn't find anything wrong with the ABS. I figure disabling the ABS will ease me of my problems.
