I just want to take a moment to let you guys know our beloved moderator and friend Hypsi87 was taken from us far before his time when one of his rear tires exploded while he was driving and flipped his car several time. I will never be the same from this loss and can't put into words how much this outstanding man meant to me. He was someone I aspired to be like but could never even get close. I don't know if I will ever be the same after a loss like this.

I seriously shed a tear.

I had talked to Andy over the net a couple times.

Hell, I was supposed to line up with him at Cordova later this summer.......

Rest In Peace!!!!!!!

Yeah, we had a meet as well planned out this August and a few of us are still attending and going to try and set a day aside to go visit his plot and show our respects of a truly amazing man and friend. He was one in a billion and don't know why he had to be taken from us.

I truely wish I could make that.

Please send him a wish from me when you are at his plot.
Thank you.

I would also like to wish Andy's family the best, you are in my prayers.

Z28Josh has been kind enough to offer to deliver letters to Andy's family from us if we send them to him. I for one , find the need to express to his love one's how much being friends with Andy meant to me and how much knowing him effected the person I am today. If anyone would like to just take a few moments to write up a little something on Andy let it be a funny post that made you laugh or how he answered your question or PM or how in some way he effected your life as well I would greatly appreciate it, cause Andy gave alot to this forum and if you had known him you know he took this forum and his advice very seriously and we should all in this time express to his family just how much we all appreciated this. There will never be another like him.

Josh's Mailing address to send letters for his family is:
Joshua Jacobson
906 1/2 South Vine Street
Apartment 101
Urbana IL, 61802

What exactly happened? The article said he was taking a car from some town to another for repairs but then it said he was driving it at over 100mph. So this happened in a car other than his own? Either way, its terrible hearing about things like this. My sincere condolences go out to all his friends and family.

guys i know this is very old....... but i just for sum reason came in here and was reading through all of this again. its wild when i think of it, one day we were all goofing around and the next day everything was so different. not to sound all mushy and stuff but even though many of us have never met, we have know eachother on here for a much longer time than some of the folks we hang out with. a blind person never sees who he's talking to so does that make hime friendless?? i guess what im getting at is even after all this time, this still brings a tear to my eye... we lost a great friend and u know what.... i miss that guy!! remember the greatest april fools joke of all time?? rs, john, and hypsi all had us think they got banned for life from the forum?? (for those of u who go back that far ) that was classic! i hope this page is never locked... because for us, this is how we place flowers on his headstone. im just stoping by to tell an old friend that i was thinking of him, and we all miss u man!! drive it like you stole it!

Although I rarely post, Hypsi was one of those rare to find banks of knowledge. I respect and admire that about him. RIP Hypsi.
