hi guys,

This is my recent attempt to build Keiichi Tsuchiya's AE86 for the coming SR Garage Celica/AE86 Meet next month. Its not 100% accurate to the real car, but nevertheless, this is my very first Fujimi AE86 build. Rims are Aoshima BBS RS II.

(hint: most of the plastic parts of this car model just do not fit)

I like this one! :sunglasse :bigthumb:

Did you see his "new" car? I think he runs a Turbo blacktop 20V 4AG now and also sports a GT wing for rear traction.

Looks like a fine replica to me!
Did the rear spoiler come with the kit or did you fab it up?
I think Keiichi would be proud!

Thanks for the comments....

Apexi_N1... the bonnet pins are from Tamiya Evo5 WRC...

Honoturtle... yeah...i saw his "new" car with the gt wing, but i prefer AE86 without gt wing...

675datsun.... i fab the rear spoiler using some ply cards and Tamiya basic putty...

Maybe because of the light filters...that why the bonnet appears to look like velvet...I will try to get some outdoor pictures tomorrow...

Good job bro!! It may not be 100% accurate, but I'd say it's 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999% accurate so it's close enough!! LOL Very clean work.

Wow looks fantastic. Awesome build. Just a question, where did you get your referance pics? Cos i have tons and tons of AE86 pics, but none of Tsuchiyas.
Again, awesome build.

I have taken a outdoor picture, hoping to show some shine on the bonnet. Sad to say the weather is not sunny today.

SkylineFan...I don't think there's a exact kit from Fujimi, but you can use any fujimi AE86 trueno as a base car.

ozstrider... My reference is from the Hot Version AE86 Club vcds.
