I have a 93 Pathfinder and the A/C will work fine for a little while and then just shut off. The clutch on the compressor will disengage. After it sets for a while it will start working again. The system has enough pressure so I don't think it is the low pressure sensor switch. The dealer mentioned a thermal control amp. I am not sure what that is but it is almost $100 so I would like to know if it is the problem before I replace it.
