Is there any available. I have a 4 door 93 ford escort and i wanna hook it up with a body kit but I cant find any for the 93 yr. One guy down the road has a tyte body kit on his 2-dr 93 ford escort but he made his side skirts and the fornt and back came with it.

I might be wrong, but i have heard that you can use the front bumper made for a 92-95 civic on a second gen escort. It does however need some modifaction.

yeah some azn kid told me that but i thought he was playin around. he said the front bumber of a 94 civic would fit on it and look a lot better but I dunno if I wanna try that if I'm not sure. Does anyone have a nice fixed up escort on here?

Corksport.com sells a bumper for the Mazda Protege, which fits the escort. it is called the evo 3 and sells fro $381. I belive this is a direct fit

so i can order a front bumper (body kit) made for a 92-95 civic, from a site like groundeffects.com and it'll fit on my 96 escort? how much would a place charge to install it?

The Civic bumpers are not identical to Escort bumpers, however, they are similar. This means that any aftermarket kit you get for a Civic that you want to put on an Escort will need to be modified (mounting points, wheel wells, headlight and grill area, etc); how much you will be charged is up to the body shop you get to do the work. Get at least 3 different quotes from reputable body shops before you get anyone to do it.

also, couldnt the 94-95 escort body kit possible fit the 96? there arent that much changes in the cars i dont think.

1991-1996 Escorts have identical bodies. Any kit designed for a 91, 92, 93, 94, or 95 will fit on a 96.

OK i have found these body kits for escorts but they all have mk next to them so i dont know if its ok for the American made cars since its a u.k website so if u know i would be very gratefull.

The MK is the Euro escort... just as the Cossie *Cosworth* Those bodykits can fit... with work... just like many other kits. Using a 92-95 Honda civic or a 91-93 Honda Accord bodykit. Also with some work there are several Nissan Sentra body kits that will work.. I forget the years... like the one posted above. Also Lancer Evo kits can work... If you have a Gen 1 the same options kinda apply... but not so much, You can use a supra bumper I know of. But you can do almost anything with a little or alot of work.

Well I myself have the nice Tracer LTS instead of a Ford Escort. I have found a nice site based in teh U.K. that deals with all types of mods for the Ford Escort. www.ford-components.com would be a good place to go check out some performance parts for the Escort.

Have you thought about using the Escort GT pieces? My Escort LX 4 door hatch has a GT front bumper by mistake. The body shop ordered the wrong part! I didn't complain, it looks rather nice. I'm not sure if the side skirts or rear bumper would fit, but the front is a simple bolt on. I do know that the early GT side skirts covered a lot more of the rear quarter behind the door, so they won't work but the later, smaller ones might.

fellas fellas, no accord bumpers will work headlights are to wide as is the body thus making the front bumper to wide to put on civics sound more reasonable but no matter what you are gonna end up doing some kind of custom fitting to get it to work. best bet is to replace the whole front end get crx or civic 92- 95 headlights that way if you get a front bumper for a civic the headlights will work and will lokk pretty damn cool. same goes with euro taillenses get civic ones it wont be a direct fit but will work. im going thru the same thing right now will post pics along the way. one good thing to keep in mind. there is no magic trick to anything use your head. if a front bumper will fit so will a rear bumper side skirts are universal they just say they are not. think about. just get side skirts to a car that is the same length as your car. anywho i gotta go but if anyone has any new info, very interested to hear have fun and keep the peace on the road. we all like cars only difference is the funds we have to do what we want.

Yes, that is why 91-96 is called second generation, because there all the same body.

yeah those mk# body kits are for euro escorts. Their escorts are like mk1-6 or something like that.our escorts are called first second or third gen.

look on ebay for 97-00 kits..there are like 2 or 3.

Go to askjeeves.com and type in ground dynamics, click on the first bodykit website on the first page. For some reason if you type in grounddynamics.com it will not go through. On there they have an awesome looking bodykit for a 93. I think the whole kit is under $500.
