Engine light is on oceansideboy 07-18-2005, 01:51 PM
My Engine light is on for a while. I want to know how can I make a diagnosis by myself first before I took it to a shop. I have a Hayne's manual, but I couldn't find which two terminals I should bridge in order to read the flashing diagnositic code off the panel. It says I should bridge E1 and T terminals, but I don't know where are they. Thanks. gator2764 07-27-2005, 07:04 AM Go to www.tercelonline and you will find a diagram with the terminals you need. somewhere in there they have what you need. gator2764 07-27-2005, 07:08 AM http://autorepair.about.com/library/ts/bl-dtcs-10a.htm 97cavalier 10-22-2005, 10:25 PM http://autorepair.about.com/library/ts/bl-dtcs-10a.htm Go to autozone, the have to computer to check it and they do it for free. I know it only works on 96 and up but on my 95 if you look in your fuse department in the car if you open it there is the plug in port there.
