My pathfinder started squealing a few months ago, it comes and goes and I think it's worse when it's hot outside. Any ideas??

If its a fairly constant high pitched squeel coming from the front wheels and it doesn't go away when hitting the brakes, it's most likely a noise produced by the hub inner seal against the baffle plate. There is a redesigned baffle plate that eliminates this noise.

If the noise changes goes away or is significantly reduced when applying the brakes then your brakes are probably the source.

Thank you for the advice, however; the only time the noise reduces is when I start to slow down; not by pressing the breaks but by letting down on the gas....does this make sense (I do appologize for my lack of mechanical knowledge)
