how to replace factory 88 brougham equalizer woodgrain panel sterio with Cd player ?randy78 07-17-2005, 10:36 PM in the 88 Brougham LS with the woodgrain dash and built in equalizer and heater controls in the panel there how do you replace the sterio with a CD player or anything else aftermarket or ? CD Smalley 07-18-2005, 07:17 PM That radio and heater control section do come apart. There are two small screws located under a lip on the front. You have to look from below at just the right angle to see them. But the radio and AC controls do come apart quite easily. randy78 07-18-2005, 10:06 PM so you can remove the radio part of the dash plate separately and leave the heater controls dash plate alone ? i see the split parting line, didnt know if it was a real split or a fake split ? which is it ? for real ? thanks randy78 07-19-2005, 12:26 AM http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/5/web/425000-425999/425909_34_full.jpg damn welp im gonna gfo out to the car asnd stasrt yanking the original equalizer sterio cassette out right now, yay! cuz when i sell my 81 pickup here within the week( i have two serious interested buyers right now) then im having CD or something else good put in yay :D and the car is already dour speaker from factory so no mods needed the really, cept an amp but not huge or crazy one or anything like that, i want good sound more than alot of decibals, and less amperage robbing and wiring mess too :D any tips or ideas or thought would be appreciated on this subject someting you wish you did that i should do, or mistake you made that i need to be aware of and avoid doing in my 88 when i do this, thanks vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
