Hi. I've got a 2000 E-150 v-8 full conversion with one bad headlight. If it were on the driver's side I'd be able to reach in and change it. As it's on the passanger side, it looks like I'll have to take out the battery and battery tray to reach it. That don't seem right. Does anyone know how to release the lens housing so I could do the switch? I need to get this one done today but answer anyway so someone with the same situation might benefit from the solution. I've got an unrelated problem with my alarm that I'll post seperately. Any Knowledge passed on is appreciated.

Under the hood, above the headlight lense, you should see two black tabs located on each side of lense. One per side. What you need to do is pull those tabs back towards the core support and lift, you should see the lense come out towards you.Hope this helps. And the same goes for the apposing side aswell,it took me a while to figure out how those came off as well, but its pretty simple
