What is this?MR2turbo93 07-16-2005, 01:29 AM Sorry to sound a bit newbe-ish but i can't figure out what this does? Thttp://www.twosrus.com/new/images/Purchased_Products/SpeedSource/sspanel2.jpg (the little sensor next to the fan on the bottom .... with the wire that goes into the engine bay) SHORTYBOY113 07-16-2005, 04:17 PM it reads the temp in ur car and turns the fan on to the i/c. if u unplug it ur i/c fan will always run and not only when it gets hot. so i unplugged it u should to. TRD2000 07-17-2005, 04:19 PM lol... yeah we usually unplug it for dyno's or track days but leave it plugged in for the street, it'll turn on when the engine bay hits like 64 degrees anyway. mind you if you're running that border looking top fan all the time then you probably wouldn't notice the noise or whatever anyway! JekylandHyde 07-17-2005, 04:36 PM It turns on at 160 degrees ... not 64. :) MR2turbo93 07-17-2005, 04:51 PM So is it a good idea to disconnect it for the summer? SHORTYBOY113 07-17-2005, 05:38 PM yea i would say so so that it doesnt get realy hot and stays cool TRD2000 07-17-2005, 06:18 PM It turns on at 160 degrees ... not 64. :) sorry. 62.5 deg celcius. (high setting) (144 deg F) 45.5 Deg C low setting Jap car, japs use SI units. so does Aus and NZ, so that's what i tend to stick to. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
