'89 now working great with "new" ECM but............davemc53 07-15-2005, 04:42 PM until it gets warmed up it is sputtering when I accelerate. When it gets warmed up, it is fine. I'm guessing that some of you have had this problem and that it is probably just a small sensor or something that I need to replace. Do I need to check the codes? Is there a site I can go to that will tell me how to read the codes? 93_R/T_TT_Stealth 07-27-2005, 01:52 AM First i would go an change the fuel filter its bout 10 bucks an it probably needs one anyhow... an see if that solves the problem... usually that is the minor cause of a lil sputtering - cuase the fuel can flow threw the filter clearly an is gettin poor fuel delivery to the injectors. Good Luck! Matt Mr. Normal 08-21-2005, 06:01 PM until it gets warmed up it is sputtering when I accelerate. When it gets warmed up, it is fine. Use it as instructed on the bottle. It works wonders for hard starts like this. I follow up the next tank w/ Mystery Oil in the fuel; again, use as instructed. That lubricates the "O" rings after the cleaning process. I use tjem in every vehicle and peice of machinery that is gas driven. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
