Hey guys I need your opinion or your fact ASAP! Will the pontiac sunfire performance parts fit on my 2.4 liter grand am? Like the intake, headers, a racing clutch? stuff like that. Please let me know ASAP. thanks a lot guys.

I would think if same year and engine size, most would. If ya can find a Hollander's or a good parts-counter guy, they may be able to tell you more precisely what will/won't match up.

I sort of think the clutch won't work, [tranny difference?], or the exhaust, due to different bends and routing for car engine compartment.

Another way to do it is to look online at the parts stores, look at parts for both cars ie clutches and see if they are the same part number, but I think you are going to find that sunfire parts are going to be different due to the different shapes of the bodies. Possibly headers will fit, but if you are looking for a cai, get one for your car the sunfire's are routed differently...

What about like performance pulleys? or what about the same parts as a cavalier, cause they have the 2.4 liter engine also. I just installed a short shifter in my car and it was made for a 99-2001 cavalier/sunfire and it fits perfect.

What year is your GA? is its 99+ then most likly anything from a jbody should fit your car, from a header, to intake, to pulleys whatever. But if its a 96-98, then some parts arent going to fit, like header, shifter, some other things. Also when your buying a clutch or flywheel, get one for the year you have, since from 96-98 they used the isuzu tranny and in 99+ they used the Getrag.

My GA is a 2001. What do you mean by a jbody? I've heard ppl say that before and never really understood what it was.
