i have a 91 xlt
i went to the local parts store and got a 2 1/2 inch lift for $15 cdn.. for the front.. all it is is spacers for the front springs.. and they sed to invert the axel under the leaf springs and then put in a 2inch drop block between the axle and leaf springs and get an angle shim to keep the diff inline this in total should run you about $75cdn plus your time..

Go over to a site called serious explorations. Theres a bunch of guys over there that have modded the heck out of their Ex's and there was a used lift kit in the parts area.
