Ok, so after 25 hours of being awake, 13 of those hours on the highway, I finally have an S13 sitting in my garage!

It's a black 5 speed 1992 SE fastback with 192,000kms on it (119,000 miles). Black and grey cloth interior, AC (doesn't work :mad: ), ABS, HICAS, VLSD (or at least the guy told me it had it, I haven't checked yet). I'm the 3rd owner and the thing is mint, the engine, interior, body, it's all as good as it could be for a 13 year old car. There's absolutly no rust anywhere (which is hard to find up here in Canada).

I paid 5,500$CDN (4,500$US) for it.

I don't have pics now, I didn't have time yet, but by tonight I'll have some up, I'm just really busy, what with the sleep deprevation (2 hours of sleep before my 25 hour day lol). So...yeah...I'M SO HAPPY!!!! lol

It's stock, and since I'm out of money (I paid cash for the car and all related procecing and licensing stuff and insurance), I won't be modding it for a while. Actually, it has an Alpine deck, it's the only thing, but it sucks, the sound quality is horrible, I'm ganna try my Pioneer that's been sitting in my room, that deck sounded great last time I used it.

Oh and trust me, it took me a while to fall alseep last night.

i pretty sure it will have a VLSD, cuz i think it was part of the package that came with HICAS cars

those HICAS equipped cars kick ass in Auto-X, if are looking to drift it you will probably need to get a HICAS eliminator, i don't remember them being to exspensive

A/C...blah i dont use mine anyways.....and yes it works. Im a window type of person i guess. WIndow down, tunes up. Wait i dont have a radio either. Well it used to be tunes up....

Well I'd like to get the AC working before I take a girl out in the car, lol. And I also found an amp under the seat, which is a nice little surprise. I got a few pics, not many because my battery crapped out on me. I'll take some more after I wax it and ArmorAll the interior, I'll also take some engine bay pics. Oh and btw, I can't drive with the windows up either, lol, if I'm in a car with AC and it's hot, I have the AC on full blast and my window down.

And I think it has an aftermarket clutch since it's much stiffer and engages much quicker then other S13s I've driven. I love the feeling of it tho.

Thx guys, I really appreciate that you guys like it, I'm so happy with it. I love the DRLs, they are pretty bright and I think they look better then the grilles, I'm ganna see if I can wire them up so they stay on even when I turn on my headlights. (They turn off when I turn on the headlights.) Also, I know I don't have a plate on it, I'm ganna do that this week, I have a temp plate on my windshield. (Top corner on passenger side, yes, I know it's a weird location, lol, weirdo Canadian laws.) I'll check tomorrow what the green is called, I have a paint catalog at work.

Good stuff, man. HELL YEA. Most cars I have had didn't have working A/C and a couple had intermittent A/C. The ONLY time A/C is nice is when it's raining out. Can't put the windows down when it's raining hard and your windows fog up...such a pain in the ass. Other than that, A/C isn't too big of a deal. The Z31 I have now has working A/C so I use it sometimes...kinda a "if you have it, you'll probably use it" kinda thing.

Reminds me of when I got my car. So innocent and stock but yet so damned clean. If you do replace the steering wheel dont get the ghetto slick one get the one thats wrapped in a leather..mine has never peeled or cracked. Good find....and no rust is sick for canada.

Who says you can't put the windows down in the rain. I do. All you gotta do is not roll em down all the way, or else yaaaa haha.

I prefer to not get my interior wet in the rain...so I never put my windows down unless it was just sprinkling outside.

yea im so used to not having a radio, and the windows down that i feel uncomfortable driving other wise. Im used to hearing every little thing on the road lol. My friends get pissed when i drive my coupe (it has a radio) cuz i turn it down every 5 seconds and say did you hear that? there like "hear what". im like nothing must have been the radio lol. I dont know i just like being aware of what is going on i guess. All my friends are like "dude, you need to chill out on this car thing, its like your married or someshit." Im like i am married bitch and wait till you see the ring im buying her.....(which would be a turbo)......

Ceramic ring would be kinda cool. Don't really know why...probably just cuz I don't think I've ever seen one. I'm sure there are ceramic rings out there somewhere that have intricate [sp.] designs and what not that look pretty cool.

The radio in my 2nd Z31 (which was a turbo) was a piece of shit (an old Alpine, actually...now I have a new Alpine in this Z31...CDA-9835...top of the line, baby-beeeeee...lol) and had nearly no antenna so I chose not to use it much. I usually just put the windows down and listened to the turbo. :biggrin:

Actually, I have some Alpine piece of shit in my new car, but it sounds awful, even with the amp, I think I remembered there was something about bypassing the stock amp or else you get poor sound quality, also, I'm supposed to have HICAS and ABS, but neither of them engages, is there a fuse for them or something?

I think alpines kicks ass. it is my favorite deck but isf you get a cheap one i dont know how the sound quality is. there more expensive modles are nice though.

I'm planning on putting a system in my car and, when I got the car, I did some research on head units. A good head unit is a MUST for any system that you'd like to sound half decent. The best one I found, in general and that best suit my needs, is the one I bought. Alpine CDA-9835. It's just about the newest, best, highest end head unit out right now offered by Alpine. (lol...while I was in the little car audio place waiting for them to get done putting it in my car, I was flipping through a magazine and noticed that, right on the inside cover, there was an ad for the Alpine head unit model right below the one I was having put in!) 6 channel digital time alignment...5 band parametric EQ...all kinds of good stuff and an output and sound quality that is phenomenal...you can also hook up all kinds of cool stuff to it. One big reason I bought it is because I can hook up a module they sell that allows you to control an iPod from the head unit...displays song text and charges the iPod, too. I want to get an iPod, put every CD I have on it so I won't have to worry about carrying CDs, changing CDs or anything getting stolen...just take the iPod out with me when I park. I only have the 4 stock speakers in my car and it truely makes the best of them...even makes those old ass speakers sound ok. Only problem is that it's a $700 head unit. I got mine off eBay, though....:biggrin:....new, in the box, shipped...$450...:biggrin:

I have a 350$CDN (new at the store) Pioneer and it sounds amazing.

Pioneer makes good stuff, too. I was actually going to get a Pioneer before I decided to get the Alpine. They're good for the money, too.

i got a brand new sony head unit from a friend for $60 since he got a free one from the dealer through some warranty. It's better than stock and didn't cost as much as a cat-back exhaust system(see above) so i'm pretty satisfied. I don't really care much for sound quality... as long as it plays CD's instead of cassettes...

wow your 240 looks even better up close, are you sure that is the sake KA that came with the car though because it looks brand new lol.(for all those wonderin what I am talkin about, it is because I saw john at orange julep with his new 240.) he had the nicest and best condition 240 there until a fully modified 240 from sparks motoring parked right next to him after.

I think it's the original engine, but if I also had 50k to spend on my car, it would look better then the Spark Motoring one!! lol
