I got a nvt 350 manual transmission for a neon for sell. I dont know if its the r/t or not i just know its the nvt 5 sp. im only asking 400 and shipping for it. so its a steal. all the gears work you can shift it by had, it still has fluid in the tranny, (id replace that before you drove on it) i got it on accident from another person thinking it was an eclipse tranny. its for a neon with a cable clutch, could someone tell me withc model or year that is? thanks!!

It will fit any first gen neon, 95-99. $400 isn't a steal either though. I can get them all day for $250-$300 shipped. Good luck though :smile:

Well ok so 400 isnt good... funny story i paidd 650 for it because i thought it was for a eclipse (because i was told that by the seller) and the i wound up disputing it in paypal, got my money back and im left with this tranny, so i could care less what i really sell it for, because its pure profit for me. but anyways, what is the 1st gen? and is it an R/T? give me a bit more spific, is the 1st gen a sohc or a dohc? 420a motor? i need to have enough to sell it on ebay, so i can make a good listing.

It will fit either the SOHC and DOHC first gen neon 1995-1999, and should fit the 2000 neon as it is clutch cable also. I can't tell you which tranny it is without seeing the vin plate. Try getting the production or service part# off it. Then I can help you out more.

It is a 3.55 tranny from a 1995-1999 SOHC Base model. It would the preferred tranny for someone who has alot of power or going turbo. Again it can be used in any neon from 1995-1999 and the 2000 neon as well. Good luck selling it on eBay.
