Front? Rear? Labor and part, or just part?

Can't tell you what yours would cost but my front bearing/hub assembly cost $70 for parts alone for one. Mine is a '93 and I think all late 80's to present grand am's use replaceable hub assemblies instead of bearings so they tend to cost more, I'd say at least $50 and up from there for just the part. Labor would be about the price of the bearing maybe a little less, all depending on whether it's front or rear (fronts are more work typically). We'll this doesn't give you exact numbers but you get a rough estimate.

Yup they are all assemblies, the bearings are pressed onto the hubs when they are manufactured. I found that the rear bearings were more difficult for me as I had to disassemble the rear brakes to get to 2 bolts, but when I did the fronts it was a simple matter of removing the rotor. As for labor, it depends on what the shop you are using is charging. I'm careful about that, if its a job that I can do myself I will, Meineke quoted me $120 to change the exhaust donut, which cost $13 from the dealer and took me 20 minutes to change it.

When I had mine replaced i took it to a the stealership to do it and it ran me around 375 dollars. So i highly recommend not taking it to them

My car is a 99 you have to use a 36mm socket ans a breaker bar to get it off. It is not that rough of a job. The book quotes this

I bought the hub at autozone for a hundred and change. The dealer is only supposed to charge an hour labor according to the manual. There is also a TSB on the bearing wheel nut. It is supposed to be changed with a new nut when doing this procedure.
