help motor problem!!!s13dr1fter 07-09-2005, 06:07 PM Alright guys i have a ka24de. I was going home from my friends house and i was on the highway and i couldn't go past 70mph. It would start to bog out and go all the way down to 50 or so mph. Then i would get gas again. The car wouldn't turn off just have no gas. Then when i come to a complete stop my car turn off and then i turn it back on and it shut off again. Then i turn it back on one more time and it runs. Now it doesn't even turn on anymore. I do have spark and fuel have checked all that. My fuel pump pushin out its right amount of pressure. I'm thinkin maybe injectors? What do u guys think? driftking777 07-09-2005, 06:11 PM fuel filter possibly clogged...that would stop you from getting proper fuel pressure to the engine... AWDSR20 07-09-2005, 06:17 PM distrubitor? s13dr1fter 07-09-2005, 06:18 PM The filter was changed around the beginning of spring. But hey u never know. I'll possibly get another one. I haven't changed out my distributor yet but i have changed my cap, rotor, plugs and wires. LaYzIeNoY 07-09-2005, 09:17 PM timing??? random answer Chuki_breath 07-09-2005, 09:19 PM yea i was going to say filter, but since you changed that already........ i dont think its injectors. The car should still run if one is bad. And i doubt they all just went bad at once. If an injector was out you would just notice a real sluggish power band. ANd at stops your car would do the "V8 shake" as i like to call it. The whole car just shakes like you got some huge power in there lol. s13dr1fter 07-10-2005, 12:57 PM Yea chuki my car does what u talk about. And also this car has been sitting for like 5 or so years and has the stock injectors still. Chuki_breath 07-10-2005, 01:06 PM oh well then you may want to replace them, and other stuff just to get them up to par. I would get an oil change too. Waltz 08-21-2005, 04:26 PM sounds like an intermitent fuel pressure problem or faulty ecu check ecu with a known working one , and if its an intermitent problem ... then its a lot of pain in the ass to figure out where its coming from , this post is been out a long time , but if this helps , all the better best of luck NiSmO_zt 08-21-2005, 04:34 PM sounds like the fuel pump might have just bitten the dust nissanfanatic 08-21-2005, 05:40 PM Clean the MAFS. Check all the common stuff. lost180 08-22-2005, 01:24 AM Ya MAFs always seem to bust on 240s. Also check for vaccum leaks. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
