I got ambitious and decided to change spark plugs on my 2000 Toyota Tacoma with 2.7l engine. Well, 3 out of 4 were pretty straight forward, but wire to plug #3 is not long enough to pull out the extended connector deal. Can I pull the wire off the coil so I have more play? How is that done? Or is it a bigger job that requires taking off engine parts to get to it? Thanks for the input. I am not a real mechanic.

Thanks. That's what I figured but I didn't want to force anything.
