Hey, I need to get my door trim off of my 98 Grand Am. I've seen a bunch of posts for '97's and 99's and such, but nothing for a 98. All of the others are probably similar to the 98, but nothing is exact. I'd like to know how to do it for my 98 to avoid breaking anything. Thanks a bunch.

Becarefull when you get all of the screws and bolts out, you have to get the plastic push pins out and they can be stubborn. There is a special tool to take them out, I use a pair of needle nose pliers and pull the door panel out a little and then slide the open pliers around the pin and gently work it out. You will have the urge to just yank on the panel to get it off, you may have to use some force to assist the pannel off, try not to pull too hard, I have done this in the past and have broken the pin or the retaining clip on the panel.

Good luck.
