Beam ("log") axle with sway bar . . .i_rebel 07-19-2001, 04:31 PM I've seen this a few times . . . and I've been getting curious. With a Multi link beam setup for the rear suspension . . . what advantages are there to installing an anti sway bar? I myself thought that this had no merit whatsoever, yet I see it fairly often, and some people who have done it actually have explanations. One guy told me that the beam naturally flexes somewhat, and the sway bar combats that flexing . . . true, or no? I don't follow . . . that sounds akin to supporting a roof rafter with a broom stick . . . Moppie 07-19-2001, 10:38 PM GO read Texans articles on weight transfer, It should explain it pretty well. Basicly you can still get body roll even with a beam axle, and a Anti roll bar will help control it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
