Help!!!!! Please!!!! I'm at my wits end. I have a massive hole in my gas tank and can't seem to find a way to repair it or a compatible tank to replace it with, any suggestions? Cost is an issue if that helps.

Have you tried JB weld? It won't be a permanent fix, but it should hold for awhile. Try hitting up a junkyard for a cheap replacement.

Thanks for the advise. We've tried JB Weld (multiple times now) and the gas is still leaking from the tank . I guess then the junk yards are going to be my next route. Are you aware of any vehicles that are compatible with this car? Trying to find a tank for this car has car via the internet has been virtually impossible so I'm concerned of the same problems off of the net.

The Dodge Avenger is bascially the same engine, so they have similiar parts. I don't know if the gas tank is one of them though. Good luck.

actually, in 2001, the sebring was designed, and a fuel tank out of a Dodge Stratus will work, if you can find on out of a junkyard. If I'm not mistaken, that fuel tank is plastic, how did you JBweld a plastic tank?
