I own an E/P '83 VW with an "85 GLi engine . I need to reinstall the original camshaft back in the motor to run F/SP. Are the camshaft profiles of the '83 1.8 GTi engine the same as the the '85 GLi, as I have the original cam for the '83 motor and I would like to install it.
