94 2.3 L Quad 4 overheatingJweible 07-05-2005, 10:35 AM Here I go again with yet more overheating problems. I found one hose way on the bottom on the passenger side end of the radiator to be leaking. But it's a small leak. Ive already had the thermostat replaced as well as the housing and some leaky gaskets. This is the only thing I can see that's leaking which leads me to believe that it is my water pump malfunctioning. If this is so, how can I tell for sure that it is the waterpump not working correctly. Any help or opinions on why my car could be overheating would be great. Thank you. skibum1111 07-05-2005, 06:19 PM Did you ever check the heater core? And does it run hot when you are driving down the road? The overheating problem on mine turned out to be a bad headgasket and a badly cracked head, so try to nip the problem early so you don't have to pour a ton of money into it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
