I had to replace my a/c control module 2 years ago because it would only blow non a/c air out of the foot resisters. The a/c light would not come on and the compressor did not work. Now another problem..The a/c woks fine but I only get air out of the foot resisters and the defrost registers. The panel registers will not allow and air to come out. All else seems to work fine. Could this be another a/c control module problem?

I drove the Tahoe again this am and the a/c has quit working and only the floor registers work. Looks like the a/c control module has blown out again.

I pulled out the a/c control unit and found an open transistor (PNP) in the ckt. Replaced with a PN 2907 from radio Shack and it works fine. Some of you guys having this problem be advised this is a 68 cents fix.
