I also like the WIP pics!!! knightvision 07-04-2005, 07:53 AM Hell that is awesome. Great technique!!! How/with which pencils did you do it? aguydude 07-04-2005, 12:04 PM wow m8!!! thats just amazing!!! it allmost drives off the paper!!! well done!!! I also like the WIP pics!!! Thnx. I used Prismacolour Scholar pencils(cheap). I would recommend the professional Prismacolour pencils tho simply because they blend better. As for technique, just lots of layering and blending. I used two colours for this piece, so I just layered alot with the two and blended the colours with white in the end so it would be smooth looking. Mshkttck 07-04-2005, 12:55 PM Awesome! The rear rim seems a little 2D, but the shading is great, I love the highlights. Magliano 07-04-2005, 11:19 PM Nice! i'm working on a colored pencil drawing too, later i'll post here. The main problem i have is with the paper texture, too rough. So the color get to light or stained. But you drawing is perfect. I know how hard is to mix colors, and your gradients are perfect. As your highlights too. Compliments. Bye. Magliano MonsterBengt 07-06-2005, 05:59 PM beautiful GvEman 07-06-2005, 06:09 PM Awesome! It looks like it drives through fog..:) stuffbyalex 07-06-2005, 06:33 PM That's some really really really nice work! What kind of paper is that on? I also have a prismacolor scholar set. Is there a big difference between those and "real" prismacolors? Keep up the good work. Alex GirlBear 07-07-2005, 04:40 PM Damn! That shizzy is sweet! aguydude 07-18-2005, 01:39 AM That's some really really really nice work! What kind of paper is that on? I also have a prismacolor scholar set. Is there a big difference between those and "real" prismacolors? Keep up the good work. Alex I used some crappy paper for this, but if I was to do another pencil crayon drawing I would use thicker paper cuz thinner paper tend to "bend" if you layer alot with pencil crayons. There is a difference between prismacolor scholar set and the "real" prismacolors. The difference is that the "real" prismacolors blend better. hope that helps. Magliano 07-18-2005, 10:43 AM Cool. Here in Brazil i've never seen Prismacolor Pencils for sale. I'm using a regular cheap scholar pencil, but i'm buying in separate units Faber-Castel "Polychromos" they cost around U$ 1.50 pencil (Here in Brazil), but like the real prismacolor, they blend much better. Black Dak 08-06-2005, 12:57 AM Beautiful work! :) thetonyguy 08-08-2005, 02:21 AM not bad at all, keept it up. escort357 08-08-2005, 05:34 AM That drawing is truly amazing. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
