Nothing!!!! checked fuel injectors, seemed clogged, cleaned them, tried to start, but o ring busted and fuel squirted out.still not starting. Help please. palindromelol 07-03-2005, 10:24 PM You will likely receive the advice to clean the battery posts and check the fuses.... Ok now that you've done that.. do you have an engine service light illuminated on the dash instrument panel? sopranosgirl27 07-03-2005, 11:10 PM we did that!!! as for the engine light, it has been on for 3 years due to an oxegen sensor, any other ideas.? palindromelol 07-03-2005, 11:30 PM If you haven't already, can you extract all the codes from the cars computer? I am guessing that you don't have an OBDII hand-held interface ( If you don't know what that is then you don't have one). do this: 1) get a pencil and paper 2) Put your key in the ignition 3) turn the key on but do not engage the starter of the car 4) turn it off 5) on then off then on again 6) that was on-off-on-off-on 7) count the flashes of the engine service light(there will be grouped flashes. 8) the last sequence will be 55. Go to this site to determine what codes you have http://minimopar.knizefamily.net/fault/index.html This may zero you in in a hurry. If you have done this and know that your O2 sensor is the only issue, I'd like to know that too. Check out this Awesome link for a manual... http://www.neon-owners.org/neon/tech/manuals/1997/EPL_TAB.PDF sopranosgirl27 07-03-2005, 11:45 PM I know for sure its the o sensor cuz I took it to the auto store and they hooked it up to the computer thing, and told me it's the o2 sensor.so I know that for sure.but thats not whats causeing this, cuz I been driving it like that for 3 years.any ideas? palindromelol 07-03-2005, 11:59 PM If the engine generates another fault it is disguised because you had a previous fault that was not cleared. But if you download the codes by doing the key on-off-on-off-on trick you will get all the faults including the O2 sensor and maybe a few surprizes....just give it a try. Also have you actualy check the fuel pressure or are you just saying it is ok because you can hear the pump running? If you have not checked the fuel pressure with a gauge you need to. das2123 07-04-2005, 08:01 PM Check your camshaft and crankshaft position sensors. I'm thinking the crankshaft position sensor though. sopranosgirl27 07-04-2005, 11:23 PM Ok I will do all that tommorrow morning, and let you guys know. thank you. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
