I got a 99 tahoe and the front disc brakes will not retract. I was wondering what the hell is making the brake not retract. Somebody please help me out with the answer?

Contaminated fluid
Misadjusted brake switch
Internal failure of a rubber brake line

Question is how do you know they will not retract?

remove and clean the caliper slide pins and the bores they slide in.

I would also add neverseize or a thin coat of grease to the bolts.
