I will like to know what is the best shock to put on my tacoma 99 2.7 L? I make a some offroad but i more often road. Also, what kind of shock is the best, twin tube, monotube, adjustable, piggyback... and what compagnie, bilstein, arb, edelbrock, kyb...?

bilstein for sure! I have used them since the beginning of time!

The Bilsteins would be your best bet for off road use. Some do not like the harder ride that shocks of this genre provide. I installed front and rear Tokico trek masters on my 2004 tacoma. I got a big improvement in ride quality. I no longer suffer from the constant bouncing that the oem shocks are famous for. It is ironic that the oem shocks for the tacoma are cheap versions made by bilstein and tokico. I got a great deal on the tokico shocks from truckperformance.com. I also installed these same shocks on my kid brother's tacoma. He is happy with the improvement.
