i got a new caprice! its a 90 with power locks, but oddly enough, not power windows. its got a 6 cyl i think but it runs like i champ. it needs a lot of tlc so i came here for answers. i need to know how hard it is to remove the steering column from this car. next i got some body questions cuz this one is a doozy

trunk lid....hmmmm funny you should mention that....the back end of that baby is sittin kind of low due to a rear end.....im trying to get her fixed becuase it aint that bad. i will put pics up asap

Yeah, that SPID label in the trunk will tell you a lot about whats in the car (engine, transmission, read end diff, regular and special production options, etc.). Also, post your VIN as that also tells some information (engine code, etc.).

this might be a dumb question, but if the SPID isnt on the trunk lid or in the glove box, where would it be on an 83 caprice?

83 didnt have them yet, not til 84 on cars but trucks got them since 1967 lol
