I have a 94 dodge 250 van. I bought it new and at present have 217,00 miles on the van. Good van, no major problems.
Recently I have had to replace the radiator and the guy nicked a fusable link at the firewall. At that time all that he did was to tape it back up.
This was last week. Since this has happened, I have broken down on the road three time. The van would just die, no ignition, radio, anything. I told the person who did the work and he said that all he needed was to replace the fusable link and installed a fuse holder in it place. ( So if the problem reoccurred replace the fuse.) Today I tried five fuses and ended up calling a tow truck. It kept blowing fuses.
How can this problem be corrected. Any advice is extremly appreciated.
I have never been on one of these forums before and do not know alot about them or automobiles, ( houses yes, auto no).
Can anyone out there help?
L Tom

L Tom[/QUOTE same thing happened to me on a different vehicle i blew a fusable link and put a inline fuse holder in it's place, at first i tryed a 20 amp fuse (which kept blowing) so i tryed a 30 amp and everythings fine. You might want to go with a bigger amp fuse and check that out.
