Just bought a '96 4-door, with 80,000 miles. Never owned a 4 Cylinder. What is recommeded for a tune up? And also what kind of oil do you recommend?

depends on how well its been taken care of , normal tune-up would be the plugs , plug wires , distributor cap and rotor , also think about changing the 02 sensor and if it hasnt been done you should think about changing the timing belt , for oil, if it dosent burn or use oil, then 10w30 of what ever brand you like is fine , but if it burns or uses then i would go with 20w50

do not use 20 w 50 in overhead cam engines the cam will not get enough oil pressure and burn up cam bearings use any brand 10w30 or 5w30
