'84 New Yorker freon flow problem.

I have a 1984 Chyrsler New Yorker with a 2.6L Mitsubishi engine and the freon is not flowing so the air is not getting cold. I checked the pressure with my check gauge and it indicates that it has around 30 psi which means it's filled.

I just charged the system with some stop leak (the red color type), but I gave the system 1 can of freon before I gave it the stop leak. The can didn't say whether to put the stop leak in first or the freon first so I didn't think it mattered. The compressor is still working.

Could the stop leak have something to do with stopping up the lines?

If anyone knows what I can do about this problem, I would greatly appreciate any assisstance.

I just turned on the a/c system today and to my surprise, it's blowing cool air now, and my check gauge indicated that the pressure is still on the filled level as it indicated yesterday.

Apparantly, it was something that just needed a little time to correct itself whatever it was that was causing the freon not to flow.

So I just wanted to let everyone know that the a/c is working fine now.
