I have a GA 2001 se and the turn signals work fine sometimes but other times neither signal will work. It doesnt blink or anything. I never got the recall fixed either could this be why and if so why this long?

Most likely. I've never had the recall fixed, and mine's worked fine for 4 years. I would go get the recall fixed - it's free and it should solve the problem.
