I have a '02 wj gcl with 4.7HO with a blower question? weather I hve it on heat or a/c after about 10-15 minutes I lose air pressure yet the fan is still blowing. So it is pissing me off cause in this heat you need the air and then I have to turn it off for a bit then turn it on again. I have searched other forums but no luck nobody seems to answer this question. Any Ideas? I know it seems to be a comon problem but with no real answer. Maybe I jsut suck searching!!!

The first thing that comes to my mind - seeing that it affects both heat and A/C - is that the fan starts slipping on the shaft. Not sure how likely this is but........


My next thought is that one of the air flaps is going to the "off" position, maybe due to a faulty controller or a bad vacuum motor.

Hope this atleast gives you a place to start.
