Guage needles below the stopperrantanamo 06-26-2005, 11:35 PM The needle that indicates the speed has somehow worked its way below the stopper stick thingie that keeps it from falling far below 0. This is on a 2001 Honda Accord Ex sedan. This happened after I changed the battery. I am assuming the needle spun all the way past its maximum when I put the battery in. Is this something that can be reset electronically or must I crack the guages open and do this manually? Even if I do this manually, will it ever indicate speed correctly, or should I just take it to the shop? Thanks in advance for any help as well as apologies in advance if I didn't search deep enough for the answer. jeffcoslacker 06-27-2005, 09:51 AM I read where this happened to someone else here, and they had to take the bezel off and pop them past the stops, but everything was ok after... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
