oil from top of the motor to carburator earp 06-26-2005, 09:49 AM
Hi everyone, I'm nee at this forum.... I got a problem with my corolla. It's has only 50 K miles. Year 1997. It's carburated.. I have noticed that there's a pipe that goes from the engine top to the botton of the carubrator dish (you know, where you place the air filter). Well, in my car it seems like this pipe runs all the motor oil trough it. Of course, when conected you can see a lot of grey smoke exausting my car. Of course, the air filter is brown filled with oil, dificulting the car to start and to run. I disnconected it, andd then did a small run, and then i found out that all under the hood was impregnated with tons of oil. So I wonder, which is the cause and what i may do in order to fix it. thanks a lot... earp  Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
