I remember that L'orange guy from h22a.org, damn I miss that site.

What's your point? I'm sure he could run better than that by turning up the boost or getting a bigger turbo. For most people, with a car that will be driven on the street, mid 11's is enough. It's not like 11.48 is a limit or anything :screwy:

jus seems tome that for a turbo'd h22 even at low boost should run better...

I heard it's complicating to install a turbo in a hatch h22 because it's already hard enough to put just the h22 in. But yea I do know it is possible, but it will take time.

When my friend bought some parts from Drag, he had them cut longer pipes for it. And when he put it on, he just cut off the extra pipe so it'd fit. You'll definently need a slim fan though, not much clearance for the turbo. Clearance is the only issue.

Bigwilly - I think you need to do some more research man. How do you know that your friend isn't boosting more, or has higher compression? There are a lot of factors that you're obviously not thinking about. If there is an H22a and a B16a, both built with the same compression ratio, both use the same turbo, same companies manifold, same exhaust size, same suspension, running the same psi, same weight of the car (without an engine), at the same track, same driver; the H22a would absolutely KILL the B16a.

Yep, no replacement for displacement.:icon16:

they say there is no replacement for displacement but that aint true cause a corvette 427 is faster then a corvette 454 simply cause the 427 revs higher...

Look at this H22 Hatch on this page. The manifold is on the first page, and the car itself along with the turbo is on the second page:

The guy's name is Steve who owns the car. I got to know him through our Moderator Kris. His hatch should be running low 10's all summer, and then at the end of this summer, he's going to bust out a 9 to get kicked off the track :evillol:

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm going to see it in action sometime soon. It's one amazing hatch and it's the same route I'm going to be taking pretty soon. :)
